The site: This was the neighborhood search interface for the move.com site. Users who were considering relocation could search for their ideal neighborhood based on their criteria: near a particular city, with a good high school, etc.

The interface: A balancing act between many available search options and a simple interface was required. By clumping the options into two sections, I was able to give the user the option of choosing four different criteria for their search while keeping the interface simple, clear and friendly.
