The design: The client supplied me with the logo and index page illustration. I conversed with a band member and listened to a demo CD to undestand the atmosphere desired. The mood was to be dark, edgy, murky. I took the band name as a design launching pad and made the site "muddy," with a dark, mottled background and intentionally messy but legible text. Random textured images were superimposed on the background to keep it from looking to carefully patterned.
