The navigation: The site has two different sections- one public section, and one for customers who have logged in. These were previously treated as two separate entities. Citing usability studies, I moved the main navigation to the top of the page. (It had been at the bottom for one section and at the left for the other.) I also created a consistent and descriptive language for the navigation.
